- What is Noema?
- A quiet place to sit with one short question each day. You write a few lines, and a short reflection comes back.
- How does a typical day work?
- You open the app and see a short question. You write whatever comes to mind — a few lines is enough. If you'd like, you can ask for a reflection: the app reads what you wrote and offers a brief mirror of it back. You can also open a short dialogue to sit with the question a little longer. That's the whole day.
- What is a reflection?
- A short, quiet response to what you wrote. It restates what you said in slightly different words so you can read your own thinking back. It does not advise, label, or evaluate.
- What is a dialogue?
- An exchange you can open on an entry, a thread, an intention, or a question from Looking Back. Noema asks one question at a time and points back at your own words; it never tells you what you are or what to do. The dialogue ends when you are done — there is no clock — and it may leave you one question to sit with. When it closes, you can keep one line of your own about what you saw.
- Is Noema a substitute for professional help?
- No. Noema is for inquiry, not for medical care or coaching.
- Is my writing private?
- Yes. Your entries are stored for you. They are not used to train models. You can export or delete your data at any time.
- Can I use Noema for free?
- Yes. The daily inquiry and journaling are always free. A small number of reflections each month are included on the free plan.
- How does the subscription work?
- One paid tier, one trial, two pricing periods. You can cancel any time in two taps.
- How do I delete my account?
- From Settings. There's a 14-day pause before anything is removed; you can cancel at any time during the pause.
